Eclipse
As seen from Tucson, AZ, October 14, 2023. Sun in the morning sky about 30 minutes before the eclipse began a few Saturdays ago. Testing out whether I could relatively safely get a shot of the sun without looking through viewfinder. I like how the wispy clouds seem to emanate from our closest star. #Tucson

Cottontails
We get a lot of these around midtown Tucson. Here he is retreating to his lair on the other side of the neighbor’s fence

Flowers
The barrel cactus is blooming again, maybe thanks to the recent monsoon rains. And the bird of paradise too.

Doves
It amazes me how hardy doves are. They don’t seem to mind the 110F weather or the times where the weather drops below 50F here in Tucson. They are year round residents like many of us who call Tucson home. I especially like the ones with blue around their eyes.
